CardPlanner is a planning tool that can be used in a distributed team, or co-located, environment.

It has been optimized to work well on smartboards (interactive whiteboards), big TV's, a wiimote whiteboard (which is what we use internally to develop it), projectors, or even multi-touch devices such as iPads / Android Tablets.

You can, of course, log into CardPlanner using a laptop / desktop but we think that Big Visible Charts are an important part of running that project and we've designed CardPlanner with that in mind.

CardPlanner is licensed under a BSD license. We believe free should mean just that - free! (No forcing you to release your own code just because we do). However, just because you don't legally have to submit any code changes, it doesn't mean we don't appreciate patches and suggestions for improvement. We will eventually be adding a bulletin board, but in the mean-time please email failing tests and patches to devs at card-planner dot co dot uk.

p.s. IT projects fit quite well into this tool. However, we've also had people plan a wedding, a house re-furbishment, and write a book on it whilst its been in active beta.
